Please review the job details below. Maxar is currently seeking a Facility Security Officer (FSO) to join our team in Westminster, CO. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and maintaining the Facility Clearance (FCL) for Maxar Intelligence Inc. Responsibilities: Interpret and implement government security requirements in support of classified and commercial contracts Engage with Cognizant Security Authority (CSA) & the Government Contracting Authority (GCA) to ensure critical National Security Information (NSI) is protected in accordance with policy and expectations. Provide development and oversight of all aspects of program security for collateral and SCI programs. Manage Maxar’s overall program security posture to ensure compliance with corporate and government regulations. Contribute to developing improved processes and protocol and implementing new ideas with security management Implement all aspects of a security program to include Security Operating Procedures (SOPs), security processes, security education and awareness program, etc. Educate employees as to the importance of security procedures and how the new processes provide benefits to employees and the company Partner with cross-departmental management to coordinate security initiatives in line with the overall business strategy and an emerging perspective focusing on security Lead, mentor and provide guidance to a team of security professionals Conduct Facility Security Officer (FSO) duties in accordance with the NISPOM Minimum Requirements: Must be a U.S. citizen with active Top Secret clearance and be willing and able to obtain SCI accesses Demonstrated knowledge of national security policies, to include (but not limited to): ICDs, NISPOM, Executive Orders, customer specific directives and instructions, Code of Federal Regulations (CFRs), etc. Minimum of eight (8) years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree or six (6) years experience with a Master’s degree. Four additional years of work experience may be substituted for a degree. Preferred Requirements: Current/active TS/SCI Experience as an appointed Facility Security Officer (FSO) and/or Alternate FSO Completion of CDSE’s suite of courses required to obtain the FSO Program Management for Processing Facilities Certificate Our salary ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility. Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidate’s unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience. The range for this position is: $92,000.00 - $154,000.00 annually. Additionally, this position is incentive eligible with a target based on contribution, company performance, and/or individual results achieved; the specific incentive plan and target amount will be determined based on the role and breadth of contributions.
